Grown from Dijon and local heritage clones of Pinot Noir, this pinot walks the perfect line – amazing either with food or on its own. Black cherry and spice on the nose, the palate shows a very precise expression of red fruit and light oak, and is borne to a wonderful, extended finish. Clean and intense, this effort will continue to evolve for years to come and is a credit to Jeffrey Patterson of Mount Eden and the Santa Cruz Mountains appellation, which is making some of the finest Pinot Noir in California right now.
